Liam Crawley is a master butcher and successful chef, known for his pride in delivering a high standard in

both the flavour profiles and presentation of his food, as well as the passion he puts towards building relationships with farmers and producers of great Australian produce.

Having skills in both butchery and as a chef has helped Liam to fully appreciate food and it’s provenance. He values the concept of “nose to tail” to respect the animal and the producer, but also maximise the value of the carcass.

In line with this, our preference is to have provenance of a product. We believe that knowing where our meat comes from and how it is raised provides us the confidence to know we are delivering the best products available.

Pasture-raised ensures that the animal is grown and fed naturally instead of being fed and raised on grain and supplements which wouldn’t form a part of the animal’s natural diet. Although it may be necessary to provide grain to an animal, particularly during times of drought, we do not support a total grain-fed diet for those animals that should be pasture-raised.

Crawley's Quality Cuts is committed to supporting other small businesses.

We have partnered with a variety of independent small businesses to include samples of their products in our Meat Boxes. The majority of our partner businesses are located in regional NSW and do not have a customer base in metropolitan Sydney.

The aim of this initiative is to help other small businesses promote their products to a larger customer base with the view of adding them to our shop in an effort to increase their revenue.

Each week, Crawley's Quality Cuts delivers a special care package box to someone who is struggling financially.

The recipient of each box is nominated by the recipient of the previous week's box. The aim of this initiative is to help bring a smile to people's faces and let them know that someone is thinking of them. This is our little way of helping to give back, and we find that by being able to give and receive a box without any financial burden involved helps to raise the spirits of those who are a part of the program.

If you would like to contribute to the program there is an option to purchase a Pay It Forward Meat Box in our online store.
